For those of you on Linux, we have made a first look Beta build of Reprisal which you can have a play with. This is an AIRless build as Adobe have ceased support of AIR on Linux. We have been working hard to make this completely stand-alone.
It’s beta and so your feedback to get Reprisal to the Linux community is appreciated. Please leave any feedback over on the Discussions for Reprisal Greenlight, lets see if we can make this a reality! Download it here …
Also if you haven’t voted for Reprisal on Greenlight, please do, we need all the votes we can get if this is going to happen! Please spread the word :D

A little update as to what’s been happening. It’s been a busy number of months with work well under way on a brand new Multi Player game called Battle Keep. We hope to have a beta version of this released before the end of the year. It’s going to be a fast paced, Bomber Man meets Gears of War meets 16bit Gauntlet boom-em-up!
If you still don’t have your hands on the full Reprisal Desktop Edition here’s a heads up, it’s going to be on sale on the Indie Game Stand from 19th Dec 2012 for 4 days with an EXCLUSIVE 38 page making of Reprisal digital booklet. What’s great about this is you can pay as much as you wish with 10% going towards the MacMillan Cancer Support charity.
We have also set up a new Facebook page for Last 17 which will keep you up to date on what we are up to with Battle Keep.
Thanks again for all your support … BOOM!

Pop-upView Separately

I didn’t think this would be possible after daydreaming in the garden today and wanting to give the game a bit more visual styling, but here it is! It works and run’s FAST. Dynamic blurring to give the overall game view port a ‘tilt-shift’ effect. Proper simple to achieve, just reference the same view port bitmap with a new object reference, blur it and wack on a dynamic mask! Hope to get a demo version of the engine up real soon :D
